Reason: First MP3 of this year should be something very special and it is! A few weeks ago I got a mail recommending "Cafe O.K." to be my upcoming MP3 of the week, I listened to the song and was literally blown away. The music is just outstanding and hits one of my personal fave music tastes right to the point. More amazing that the one offering the song is actually a part of it itself: Mike Sun (one half of the Sunshine Family). And that one mail based a whole friendship, which has become very important to me. So this song is special to me not just because of the very empathetic music but also because of the sympathetic reason. To get to know more about the interprets visit their official sunshine site.

Reason: The Ayashi No Ceres soundtrack is really great. Wonderful pieces of music with beat. This is just one example. There are so many songs I like, it was hard to chose one. The song I chose appeared pretty often from what I can say, that is why I took it as second mp3 of this year. I have no idea how it's called orginally, but so what?!

Reason: Very scary song from the Perfect Blue Soundtrack. ... Have not seen the movie in a while but listened to the ost often recently. This song can really make you paranoid. LOL. You just have to be in the right mood and it can freeze your blood.

(15/FEB/04) Shell (2,22 MB) and Half Pain (2,24 MB)

Reason: Opening and ending themes from the anime series 'Witch Hunter Robin'. Even though I don't like the series that much, the soundtrack is really really cool! Both songs belong together for me somehow, so I added 2 mp3 this week. Shell is more rocky and expressive, Half pain more silent and melodic. I like them both very much. You should glimpse at the lyrics translation as well, very emotional lyrics.

Reason: Aww, I love that song so much. It's wonderful wonderful wonderful. This melody *singing* ... it keeps me dreaming. It's such a sweet song *sighing* ... I cannot add much more. I really go with the parts "No, wanna sell your soul, shareta kiiroi tacchi de, No, forget smile again, odotteitai dake" and "Nee, oikakete, oikakete, shiroi kaze, nee, koi ni natte, ai ni natte, hane hirogetai" it gets me swinging round and round. Actually this Gravitation theme was meant to be MP3 of last week, but it's quite hard to get ^^

Reason: Two MP3 for the next 2 weeks. I thought it was smarter to add them at the same time, cause they belong together in a way. Two versions of "It's my life"; the original by Talk Talk and the newest cover by No Doubt. To be honest I heard the cover before the original, I mean the complete song, of course I knew some parts of the original already but never heard the whole one. I like the cover a little tiny bit more. Usually I always like the originals more than the covers but at that particular time it's not like that. Really a wonderful song with a wonderful melody.

Reason: Very heartbreaking song. I cannot write much about it, you'll just feel what I mean if you listen to it silently. It's definately a song that can make me cry from one second to another. And I wanted to believe, you would win the war in your head that I did not understand. Too sad to be described any deeper.

Reason: Shit piss fuck cunt cocksucker motherfucker tits fart turd and twat - this so much reflects my mood recently, thank you Blink 182. This song is so ironic, lalalala, rolling over the floor. Listen to it, when just ANYTHING goes downhill and you'll have your pure pleasure. It really cheers me up, listening to this song REALLY LOUD over and over again. Even though it's so short, I think it's a pure masterpiece of sarcasm ^^

Reason: No MP3 for 2 months ... I wanted a smashing comeback with one of the best and most emotional songs I have ever heard. I wanted to put this song online as MP3 of the week since I ever heard it for the very first time. I never dared, I don't know ... it's like it waited for the right time to be here. I truly love that song and I can hear it over and over and over and over again. It touches me deep within and the melody ... I could drown into it forever ... Reason: Really cool song by Bush. I just like everything about it. Very strong, I'd say, with these e-guitars but with a very soft melody for the refrain. I like that. Reason: The Blue Man Group. Sadly I was not able to see them yet. But heard some songs by them. I especially like this one, the e-guitar melody is so beautiful. I just like what they have done and I don't get tired by these instructions. And drums! You can always get my good use of drums. And they definately do! Absolutely cool.

Reason: Oooh how much I do love this song. This was the very first impression I got from .hack // Dusk and it was just the perfect introduction into a perfect series. AWW, this song makes me so incredible happy. I don't know from what it actually comes. It must be simply the melody. And I love this rhythm within the rhythm of the song << haha, not knowing what I am talking about. Love it, simply love it, singing "Hello, hello, it's a New World"!

Reason: Very very calm and relaxing song. It's quite long about 7:36 minutes and some kind of keeping your mood to a lower level. I so much love that melody starting at about 2:35. It is simple but so beautiful. Drown into space, enjoy this silent but rhythmic piece.

Reason: My birthday present for you is Schnappi. Very funny song. Maybe it's rather funny for the ones understanding german, but maybe the ones who do not understand, will smile about it. It's really catchy tune to me, I cannot get rid off it, once I hear it.

Reason: As I already stated I liked the Soundtrack of "I, Robot" very very much. Great sound image. Marco Beltrami is truly a very good composer. I chose the ending theme because it reflects the movie so perfectly. I expecially like the way it starts. So silent ... with this rhythm and quiet melody and afer 30 seconds it kind of "begins". I just love that. Wonderful piece of work.

Reason: I remember, I loved the game Terranigma for SNES (oh, these days) and also the soundtrack. This is a remix of the main theme. It's so pretty. Especially when the beat starts at 1:16. The melody is so lovely; some kind of romantic.
